New Rule of Business

With lots of MNCs majorly software companies looking at India as a very huge pool of talent and hence approaching for it, a trend to become entrepreneur being observed in India in recent few years. This crowd is mostly people who have some good rich working experience in IT industry, the people with 8-20 yrs of experience though we can not ignore the fresh gradutes too who chose to be employer rather than employee.

Actually the interesting point is to differentiate between "innovating a new concept" and "to build a company which runs on already innovated concept", since everyone can see the boom in India and just want to be entrepreneur so it hardly matter to which side you are; but mostly companies are in second pool.

If you look at current few startups in India then most of them are in search field, few are in local search as www.guruji.com being early example. It seems the motives behind these startups are actually defined by huge success of www.google.com .

Now a days people wants to innovate things which can pull them a good user base and hence 'Advertisements'.But where the innovation in technology gone ? The motive of technology is to make human life better, better and better, but it has shifted towards money making business. Geeks are trying for user base instead of technology.

Look at the difference among, Apple, Microsoft and Google, which are considered as very successful companies. Apple and Microsoft had tried to make human life better through their innovative products and has evolved technology, though Google has also tried upto an extent but not really. Google's business has shifted towards money making. Google has really redefined the rules of business, which is appciated by young entrepreneurs around the globe.

I am not critising Google for its money making strategies, because an entrepreneur's job is to make money, but since great minds who could change the world with technology are diverted towards this new kind of business is pathetic.

Travelling by Trains in India

Trains are widely used mean for travelling accross the world and specifically in India. In recent few years trains in our country have raised their level to an appriciable mark (Thanks to our Railway Min. Shri Laloo Prasad Yadav) : But has it really raised? Actually not, in terms of technology trains still run late, get cancelled, people still doubt the reliability of trains and people who has warm pockets ;) prefer travelling by road and air depending upon the distance they need to travel.
Actually the luxury in trains (that too in very high profile trains as Rajdhani, Shatabdi to name a few)has increased a bit but technology is still the same. A very big part of Railway lines accros the country are still non-electric.No good system for distribution of tickets : You can still see big queues at big stations such as Bangalore, New Delhi, Allahabad, Meerut etc.

And this situation becomes more interesting in northen part of India during winters, just to add I share my great experience with Nauchandi Exp (please note its "Exp" which means EXPRESS : a train which runs very fast compared to others).

I had to travel to Meerut( A city in western Uttat Pradesh very near to National capital - New Delhi and the place I born and brought up) from Allahabad(A political city in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and the place I got wisdom: I studied B.Tech here in MNNIT) so I boarded Nauchandi Exp at Allahabad station at 5 PM in the month of January (The time when the Fog is it's best in North India) and the expected time of arrival at Meerut was 8:30 AM next day. (Need not to mention the speed of "Exp" train, the distance between Meerut And Allahabad by railway track is 630 Km). So me and my friends started our journey at Allahabad Jn. and started doing gossips about college, life, business in India and and the time our nauchandi Exp will reach Meerut of course. After finishing our dinner around 10 PM we went to our respective berths and slept after praying God for train to be reach on time.

Now, when I woke up because of very cracking sound of "Chai Chai" of Chai Wala bhaiya ( Tea is called "chai" in Hindi - Our National Language) I took almost no time to realize that train is halted at some station so I looked at my watch to guess about the station. So it was 11:30 AM in the morning and a very huge Fog was playing with people , things at 100 meters were not visible even and the train was at Bareilly station( train was to be here at 2:30 AM) so we were late by just 9 Hrs. Now everyone of us was very frustared with this. And finaly Nauchandi Exp reached Meerut at 4:30 PM. Though I was very sad for being late but need not to say that we enjoyed a lot because of being with friends. People who have lived in Hostels can understand this, that how enjoyable the train journeys are in college days with your hostel mates.

I have many such other experiences with trains, some are sweet and some are sour, and sure you must be having at least one of such experience. Just comment back in short (or long) about it, irrespective of part of world you live or have experience with.
