Yes, Tigers are not safe and the time is not far when our children will read about tigers as we do about Dinosaurs. They are decreasing at a very high rate, now only 1411 tigers are left in India which used to be one of richest countries world wide in terms of jungle life.

By the way, have we ever thought of “Why tigers are decreasing at this high rate? Or is this only tiger – I think all of jungle life is screwed up”. I use to watch Vultures on road side trees but I wonder now I can’t identify even a single. I really feel petty for them.

But did we even try to know the reasons for it – is this because of hunting only? Or environment change is the cause of this calamity (Yes, I call it calamity). Yes, it might be one of the reasons.
IMO, the biggest reason for this calamity is “Me, you and every other human”.

We, humans are cutting the forests with NO Shame at all. We are destroying environment because we need wider roads to accumulate more and more vehicles. Trees are cut like anything today, just because we do not think for a moment before firing a print job. If you start thinking you will find thousands of ways humans destroying environment rather to say digging their own graveyard.
I see monkeys on the roof of my house and at times on road in a city with population over 1.5 million. I feel sad for them that they are pushed away from forests and now they have to accumulate in urban environment instead of jungle. Good for them, they will learn “development” from humans now

We are shameful enough to take our long cars out on road to carry a single person. If you watch closely then you will realize that instead of a bus which could carry 40-50 people easily we prefer having 50 cars on road, and that is why we need wider roads to accumulate 40-50 cars. I see humans are really the most intelligent creature on earth.

As I said, there are tons of ways we are destroying environment knowingly or unknowingly. But there are really a few simple things we can do to contribute towards saving environment.

Please give a thought on below

1) – Everyday when you waste some paper, just think about the trees which were cut to produce this.
2) – Before you take your car on road all alone – please try to justify your need of car for one person. So if you can try to catch a bus instead.
3) – So every day, if you can then please take a count of your savings per day and feel proud of contributing towards saving environment.

Please feel free to extend this list. If all of us will talk or even think about saving environment then we will surely save our environment. And on the other side we can simple ignore this thought.
Let us save environment and in turn save ourselves.

Twitter worst than H1N1

I am aware of H1N1 spreading like anything, but 21st Jan 2010, was my day to encounter a virus faster than H1N1 - Yes, it is named as "twitter".

On fine morning of 21Jan2010, I was surrounded by morons (nice people but already infected by "twitter") , who helped (in their words) me finding my username "rocketverma" on twitter and this is how I got started on twitter.

Prior to this encounter with such morons, I use to hate twitter like anything - I use to feel jealous to all my infected colleagues because of their infinite capacity of absorbing information flowing through twitter. I use to say why the hell are you using even a millisecond for this nonsense software - twitter.

Were e-mails, IMs, facebook, orkut and other social networking site not enough to waste most of your productive time that we now have "twitter".

I am still searching the answer to "Why I am using twitter?", apart from the threat I got from morons (Pankaj, RP)

But after a long use of more than 24 hours on twitter now I realize "this is really a thing which I hate most but I use it for nothing :) ".
